Looking for super-fast broadband? Better head to the East Coast as Midwest suffers... but U.S. still lags far behind Asia

....... The survey even went into detail to examine the states that had the highest percentage of 'narrowband' connection speeds.
These are speeds slower than 256 kilobits per second (kbps) and the Akamai survey ranked the states by the percentage off all internet connections working below the industry minimum 256 kbps.
The survey surprisingly found that Washington D.C was the slowest.
